Popcorn lovers, take note! Beginning today, our youth will be selling popcorn in the Great Hall after worship to raise funds for their summer mission trip to Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Sales continue January 25, February 1, and February 8. Pricing: 2 small bags for $5 or $5 for a medium bag. Cash or checks only. Every bag helps send our youth out to serve!
Our district’s annual charge conference will be held on Sunday, February 1, at 4:00 pm at St. Stephen Methodist Church in Arlington. Everyone is invited to attend. In Methodist polity, a charge conference is an official governing meeting that connects a local church with its annual conference and the wider Global Methodist Church.
Altar Rail giving in January will go to the Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County, a Christ-centered ministry providing shelter, meals, and holistic support for people experiencing homelessness.
