What if joy is not loud or cheerful—but deep, overwhelming, and eternal? In this sermon, we explore Isaiah 35 and discover joy not as fleeting happiness, but as the soul finally finding its way home.
While the world often defines joy through wins, celebrations, or success, Scripture points us to a joy that is rooted in being reconciled to God and ultimately coming home to Him. Drawing on the biblical narrative from Genesis through Revelation, this message reminds us that humanity’s restlessness comes from being disconnected from our true home in God. Through Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit, that home can begin to dwell in us even now—offering peace, identity, belonging, and a glimpse of the joy that is yet to come.
