Is your life driven by fear of not having enough? This sermon challenges the myth of scarcity and invites you to trust in God’s abundant provision and radical generosity.
Pastor John unpacks 2 Corinthians 8:1–15 alongside stories from Scripture and modern life that expose a powerful lie: that there’s never enough to go around. Drawing from theologian Walter Brueggemann’s insights, we trace this “myth” from Eden to Egypt, from manna in the wilderness to the generous churches of the New Testament.
This message invites us to examine our hearts and reimagine our relationship with money, possessions, and provision. Instead of clinging tightly to what we have, what if we believed God really provides daily bread—for us and for others through us? What if our church was known not for its resources, but for how it releases them?
Be encouraged and challenged to live with open hands and trust the God who "owns the pizza shop."
