What defines a true church? It’s more than community—it’s a Spirit-filled body marked by selflessness, unity, and a deep commitment to the resurrected Christ.
In this message from Acts 2:42–47, we explore the foundational traits of a Spirit-powered church. This passage paints a clear picture of what the early church was: a community grounded in the apostles’ teaching, prayer, breaking of bread, and genuine fellowship. But it was more than just encouraging each other—it was a radical, Spirit-filled togetherness defined by deep selflessness and unity.
Pastor Jim reminds us that without the Holy Spirit, we risk becoming just another social group. True church happens only when the Spirit of God is active in our worship, our love for one another, and our pursuit of God’s will. This message challenges us to go beyond routine—to be a living witness of Christ in our world.
