Radical

October 26, 2025

What does it really mean to live a radical Christian life? In Acts 16, Paul and Silas show us that true faith looks nothing like the world — it’s marked by radical unity, peace, and forgiveness.

In this message, we see what it means to follow Christ in a way that truly stands apart from the world. Through three very different people — Lydia the merchant, a slave girl, and a Roman jailer — God reveals that His gospel breaks every social and cultural barrier. The early church was radical not because of loud voices or confrontation, but because of transformed hearts and unexpected grace. Paul and Silas embody this radical faith: singing in prison after being beaten, showing peace that defies circumstances, and extending forgiveness to their persecutor. Their witness reminds us that the world doesn’t need more people who act like everyone else; it needs disciples who live differently because of Jesus. This is what it means to be a new creation in Christ.
